Who we are
Established in 1978 Clarkson’s to this day remain a fully independent second generation family run Scottish business. In an age of faceless multinational rental operators Clarksons offer a warmth and welcome as well as a level of personal service that the big names simply can’t touch.

Helped us out at the last minute back in February after our being totally misled and messed acout by a competitor with yellow banners............. Van was spotless, process of pick up and return painless. Overall were great to deal with , and in this instance really pulled us out the mire. Thank you

Fantastic friendly rental company. Rented a Luton off them to save money moving house. What a great decision to use them instead of other companies. Really accommodating - i had to change dates because of the virus and they bent over backwards to help. Great price Great customer service - thank you very much!

Fantastic service from the moment I contacted Clarkson to dropping the van off. Laura initially didn't have availability for Saturday but advised she had availability for Sunday. She took my number and said if she had a cancellation she'd contact me. True to her word she phoned and we got the van for Saturday. On arrival we picked up the van on time and it was spotless. All staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. A brand to be trusted and we will always give this local business ours!!!

Barry Clarkson and his team are the kind of people we need to see more off in the motor trade honest reliable and friendly with a wealth of knowledge all Clarksons fleet are well prepared having done business with them in the past on both the hire and sales side of the business sales vans are all prepared to an excellent dealer standard and all hire vans come clean and tidy with low miles all have been fairly new good quality vans and very competitive in pricing having hired older unreliable vans in the past from other company's
Had a transit which required a rear seat conversion and Barry was only happy to help point me in the right direction

Fantastic company to deal with. A very professional service and very helpful. I needed to rent a vehicle to move some large business equipment and Clarkson Commercials were able to supply the perfect vehicle for our needs. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Our first choice for vehicle rental.

Hired the 9-seat minibus for a family holiday and so glad i went to Clarkson.
Minibus was well maintained, spotless inside and out, seats were comfortable for everyone including me (the driver) drove 800 miles and was such a comfortable drive considering the distance.
Also the minibus just fits in to a normal car parking space so didn't have to go park it miles away in a coach park.
Very economical too, for 800 miles it cost £120 in fuel and that was with 7 adults and 1 child, the train ticket for a single adult was £186 so it was significantly cheaper to hire the minibus!
Been to Clarkson a few times before this hire and will be back again purely because of the customer service, quality of vehicles and the price.
