A Clarkson’s Honda CRV hire car has just been on holiday, enjoying a tour of the Scottish Highlands, and the couple who hired it have sent us some snaps.
The Meyer family, from the Germersheim area of Germany, come to Scotland every year and this year was no exception. Matthias and Brigit love Scotland for its hospitality, history and wilderness. They say that they also enjoy the ‘cool climate’ – that’s probably due to the air-con!
They hired a Honda CRV 5-door diesel automatic featuring full leather seats, a panoramic glass roof and satellite navigation, the perfect vehicle for a tour of the beautiful Highlands.
Their tour took them as far north as Ullapool and Inverness, to the Isle of Skye (using the ferry, like true adventurers), over the famous Bealach na Ba pass, Applecross, Plockton, Inverewe Gardens and throughout the Grampians.
They had a thoroughly enjoyable and trouble-free holiday and very kindly shared some of their photographs with us, as you can see below. (Click any image below to enlarge)
